Today the government of New Tarajan, represented by the Minister of the Military, Therese Van DerGrudeln, before departing toward the Republic of Cylarn, where she will attend the Presidential Banquet along with Our Glorius King and the Prime Minister, has confermed the voices about the incresing spending on space weaponry of our military forces.

- Space is our future- she said - and with the inauguration, this Thursday, of our new Space Colony, it is becoming one of our primary fields of interest."

The construction of three new Shramanid-class Battleships and one second Augusta-class Space Station is a strong signal in this direction, stated the Minister."


"Foreign Affairs:

We'll start with the more recent national news:

Yesterday, in the late evening, Our Glorious King, via hologram from the Cylarn Republic, has addressed the Parliament with the communication of the new, radical, reforms that will be immediately implemented. A summary of the speech has been exposed by Marie LeDrek, official spokesperson of His Majesty:

"Our Glorious Sovereign has in mind to realign our politics to the great principles stated in our Constitution, the Declaration of Restauration, without losing the years of openness which have marked his reign. To avoid the terrible violences and destructions of the Revolution could harm another time our prosperous Kingdom, His Majesty has decided to officially allowed the formation of the Tarajan Social-Democratic Party, formed by Left-wing moderates believing in the legitimacy of the Van Vinkel Dynasty and in the importance of the Declaration as fundamental law of New Tarajan, demonstrating we are not obtusely closed to the Left issues. Under no circumstances, however and obviously, we will accept communists and radicals, whose only goal is to subvert the order in favor of violence and fear.
However, this reform needs to be implemented alongside with a reformation of the Parliament and the political system in its entirety: for this reason, the King himself will bear the burden of managing the Parliament and approving his members."

The constitution of the new T.S.D.P. has been praised also by the allied government of Casavarr, in the person of their Minister for Foreign Affairs, Vittorio Salieri, hoping this decision will remove the remaining reasons of tension between our two nations."


"Another national news:

The Minister for Health and Welfare, Baroness Sandra Taher, has released an official communiquè after the reports about the first experimentations in eugenics had proven to be successful:

"Without doubts this is an important step for science and mankind. However, it is main concern of our government and His Majesty that this new technology will not become a loophole for many people of transferring their personal tastes on their children. New Tarajan will not allow Nature to be replaced by only human taste. Although we are very conscious that this technology positively will avoid the risks of children birth with serious, maybe mortal, malfunctions. For this reasons, we are at work to establish a strict governmental regulation about this matter."

General Carl Geshel, Commander in Chief of the Strategic Air Command, has confirmed, in an interview released yesterday, the recent enlargement of our stategic forces, with the deployment of new, internal produced, ICBM, and new theatre ballistic missiles.

"This is a new, fundamental step, toward the creation of a capable, full-response, retaliation force. If the enemies of our Kingdom wish to destroy us, now they have to think twice before attacking."

This declaration comes during a period of complete stalemate in the conflict with the Jewish Monarchy of Bankampar.



Another national news:

Officials of the Royal Police confirmed today the chasing of thirty members of an anarcho-liberal group, identified as participants of the manifestation spread two days ago in Tarajan City against the war with Bankampar and the recent reform of the Diet promoted by Our Glorious King.
Also, a spokesperson of the Restauration Defense Bureau, affirmed their commitment to identify and stop all other participants to the desorders, that left two millions of damages in the Capital.


Economy:

After a brief debate in the Diet, today our Prime Minister, Conrad Van Vinkel, during the daily press conference, announced the endorsement of the new bill regarding corporations responsibilities in disasters, after the tragedy of the NTAS- Muraz.
The bill, presented by the TSDP, will force managers to direclty participate to recover programs for victims and their families, also covering all financial costs.

"It is the first, great victory of the social-democratic party in this great kingdom" affirmed the Prime Minister: "and it demonstrates once again our concern for citizens, and our commitment to protect our nation against the abuses of the industry."

After the recent broadcast of the Underground Element, the notorious illegal radio rebel group, that accused yesterday the government for the murder of two anarchists in Alleskandberg, Prime Minister Conrad Van Vinkel, during a press conference after a Diet meeting, declared to be very concerned about this situation:

International News:

Yesterday, the first reinforcements and troops arrived from Antanares. General Van DerVand, Chief of Staff of the Federation, has come in Jaburo, meeting with our Chief of Staff, General Van Oeerstaedt. Two infantry divisions and an airborne division have yet taken their position inside the Kingdom, has requested by our government. Also, a first naval group is en route.
